Not sure you need us? Ask before you book.

Describe what is going on and we will tell you whether it needs a physiotherapist, a doctor, or nothing at all. Sometimes the answer is that it will settle by itself, and we will say so.

Questions, by who is asking

You are in pain

Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No. You can book directly. If you have a referral for a specific plan we will work to it, and if a GP should see you first we will tell you.
How do I book?
Call (03) 9629 4299. Consultations are by appointment. Online booking is coming; today the phone is the fastest route and someone who knows the diary answers it.
How soon can I be seen?
It varies week to week. Ask when you call. We will give you the soonest real appointment rather than a vague answer.
How long is an appointment?
The first is longer than the rest, because most of it is assessment. Follow-ups are shorter.
What should I bring?
Anything relevant: scans, reports, a referral if you have one. Wear or bring clothing that lets us see the area move.
Do you run on time?
Yes. If we are running late you will be told before you leave home.

You are considering HealthFit

Can I just come to a class?
No, and this is deliberate. Everyone starts with a 45-minute one-to-one assessment so the program fits you and the technique is taught before you are in a room with other people.
What are the three ways it runs?
Individual, group classes, and online. All three run. Which one suits you is decided at your assessment with the instructor.
How many people are in a class?
Capped, deliberately, so the instructor is watching rather than leading. Places must be booked in advance.
What do I wear and bring?
Comfortable clothes you can move in. No footwear needed. Change rooms and storage are available.
When do classes run?
The current site publishes two different class timetables. Until the practice confirms one, this page tells you to call rather than guessing on your behalf. Call (03) 9629 4299 for the current timetable and to hold a place.
Do I need to be fit already?
No. Most people arrive because something hurts, not because they want to train. It is not a beginners' fitness class either. It is supervised clinical exercise.

You have a claim or health cover

Do you do HICAPS?
Yes. If you hold extras cover you claim at the time of treatment through our terminal and pay only the gap.
Do you accept TAC, WorkCover, Comcare or DVA?
All four. Bring your claim number and your insurer's details to first contact so we can set it up properly.
How can I pay?
Cash, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard.
What does it cost?
Fees are not published on the current site: the page titled "Timetables & Prices" contains no price. They are confirmed when you book.
