What we treat
Accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and advice that outlasts the appointment.
No doctor's referral is needed. You can book directly.

Before you book — three things we would rather say now
This should not wait for usChest pain, sudden weakness or numbness, a head injury, loss of bladder or bowel control, or a fever with back pain. Call 000 or go to an emergency department.
See a GP firstUnexplained weight loss, night pain that wakes you every night, or pain following a fall in someone with osteoporosis.
We do not treat this hereAcute fractures, wound care, and conditions needing surgical assessment. We will tell you and refer you on rather than book you in.
Your first visit
- How long
- Your first appointment is longer than the ones after it, because most of it is working out what is actually wrong.
- What happens
- A history, a physical assessment, an explanation of what was found, and treatment in the same visit.
- What it costs
- not yet confirmedFees are confirmed when you book. Extras-cover holders claim on the spot through our HICAPS terminal and pay only the gap.
- Running on time
- Appointments run to schedule. If we are running late you will be told before you leave home.

Darren Jenkins
Founded the practice in 1998. Works out what is wrong, and treats it.
- Musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Assesses how a joint actually moves rather than treating where it hurts, which is often not the same place.
- Twenty-five years in one CBD practice
- Has seen the same desk-bound necks, shoulders and lower backs for two decades, and knows which ones settle and which do not.
- Referral network
- Refers on to orthopaedic specialists where a problem is not his to fix, and says so early rather than late.
